We have a blackberry patch just up the street where I live.  Every year my kids and I wander up there and pick as many blackberries as we can.

One day I was out picking berries with my 5 year old daughter. I was picking the berries up high, and she was picking the berries down low. I thought we had picked every berry in this one location and told my daughter we needed to move to a different spot.  She looked up at me and disagreed. Looks at all these blackberries Dad. We hit the jack pot she said.

I realized that when I bent down and looked up into the blackberry bush and saw things from her perspective that she was right. There were a ton of blackberries yet to be picked.

Sometimes in order to see things differently what we require is a different perspective. A different way of looking at things.
